Dr. Sahil Khera is a board certified interventional and general cardiologist with vast experience in complex coronary and structural heart disease interventions. He is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine and Interventional Director of the Structural Heart Program and Quality Lead for Structural Heart Diseases at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. In addition, he also serves as the Associate Director for the Structural Heart Disease Fellowship Program and the Director of the ADS Inpatient Telemetry Service. His clinical areas of interest are complex coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral valve repair and replacement, atrial septal defect closure, patent foramen ovale closure, paravalvular leak closure and left atrial appendage closure. In addition, he is actively involved in cardiovascular outcomes research and has authored or co-authored >100 peer-reviewed articles.
