Dr. Parasuram Melarcode Krishnamoorthy is the Director of the Structural Heart Program and Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Prior to moving to Oklahoma, Dr. Krishnamoorthy was Associate Director of Structural Heart Program at the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He served as the Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Brooklyn Hospital Center and Associate Program Director of the Mount Sinai Brooklyn Cardiology Fellowship training program.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy is an interventional cardiologist with specialized clinical focus in complex percutaneous coronary interventions and structural heart interventions, particularly transcatheter aortic (TAVR), mitral (TMVR, M-TEER), and tricuspid valve (TTVR, T-TEER) therapies and ASD/PFO closure. He is actively involved in clinical research and has published over 125 peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters. He is a regularly invited faculty and guest lecturer at national and international conferences.
