Chicago native. Completed medicine training at UCSF followed by cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Came to Mt. Sinai for interventional training in 2005. Spent the majority of his 19 years in practice as faculty at Mt. Sinai and currently serves as the Cath Lab Director at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital. Is an expert transradial complex/CTO coronary operator, serves as faculty for multiple practical courses on atherectomy and complex transradial interventions, and leads the interventional cardiology fellowship program at Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital. Is, most importantly, the proud father of an 8-and-a-half-year-old daughter and unfortunately, remains a lifelong tortured Chicago sports fan.
