Emir Bander is a graduate of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia. He has worked in the clinical research space at Mount Sinai Hospital for 9 years before transitioning to the Mount Sinai Cath Lab as a Cardiovascular Technologist. His work includes researching the genetic basis of fibromuscular dysplasia and contributing to the Mount Sinai FAMILIA Project, which aimed to lower cardiovascular disease risk factors for children and their parents in the Harlem area.
