Arthur Reitman, MD FACC serves as the Chief Cardiology Officer, WellStar Health System in Marietta GA. Dr Reitman is the Past Governor, GA Chapter of the American College of Cardiology, practicing complex interventional cardiology. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Reitman graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, and earned his medical degree from the New Orleans branch of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. After completing his internal medicine internship and residency at Tufts Affiliated Hospitals, he went on to a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Brown University, Providence, R.I.
Dr. Reitman completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 2002 and is board certified in Interventional Cardiology.
Special interests include complex coronary atherosclerotic disease, including atherectomy devices, novel antiplatelet therapeutics, and mechanical circulatory support.
Professional societies include American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and Georgia Chapter serving as the immediate past governor of the organization.
Dr. Reitman is currently on staff at Wellstar Health System.
